Volcano is developed as a software component that interfaces (as an add-in module) with most popular commercial radio network planning tools, including Forsk’s Atoll, Aircom’s Enterprise, Mentum’s Planet, ZTE’s ZXPOS and others.

Volcano comprises 3 models: Rural Model, Urban Model and Indoor Model. Rural and Urban models were validated against drive test data taken at frequencies as low as 80MHz, up to several GHz. It is thus suited to DVB, 2G, 3G, WiMAX, LTE and any other prevailing wireless technologies.

Volcano’s permanent focus is operational, which means the supply of a sustainable and rugged solution that can be used effectively in challenging situations, such as the prediction of coverage on a city like Manhattan, comprising several hundred or thousand sites.
