SIRADEL 3D city models meet many needs. LOD1 3D models (building without roofs, except main superstructures) are well-suited for numerical computations, particularly thanks to their precision, within a meter. They are compliant with simulations requiring a precise knowledge of the 3D environment, for example, to predict the impact of the deployment of a given urban infrastructure: particle dispersion, noise, radio waves, visibility, lighting … LOD2 3D models (textured buildings with detailed roofs) are a powerful tool for highlighting and understanding an urban area, integrating urban projects in their future environment, territorial marketing or training.

3D city models are keys to dispose of a common 3D repository to think and co-design collectively the city in a collaborative way, and to consult, decide, communicate.
