Siradel produced for the City of Rennes a global and accurate cartography of exposure to electromagnetic fields related to mobile phone networks throughout its territory (106km2).
Siradel first realized an exhaustive inventory of the city’s relay antennas, ie 3408 antennas, all operators / technologies / frequency bands combined, before measuring the peak levels of exposure in the streets at a height of 1.5m above ground level for all mobile networks (2G / 3G / 4G).
Siradel then simulated the level of exposure to electromagnetic fields on the ground, facade and on the roofs of buildings in 3D for the whole city.
The results are displayed in 3D on a public website and can be consulted by all actors in the city (representatives, operators, associations, citizens …): https://ondes.rennesmetropole.fr
