SIRADEL, the world leading provider of advanced RF coverage prediction, and DigitalGlobe, a leading global provider of commercial high-resolution earth imagery products and advanced geospatial solutions, have signed an OEM agreement for the use of satellite imagery and derived data products to support SIRADEL’s large scale map data edition.
Building HetNet infrastructure to manage capacity crunch is a huge challenge for wireless operators. SIRADEL is combining DigitalGlobe’s capabilities and skills in satellite imagery acquisition with its own map data and RF propagation model production to deliver solutions for large-scale 2D & 3D map data production and HetNet network design. This partnership delivers significant value to the operators to help them monitor and control costs for radio access deployment in urban and suburban areas.
“Thanks to this partnership with DigitalGlobe, SIRADEL can provide homogeneous and accurate wireless network design at very detailed and large scales,” said Dr Laurent Bouillot, CEO of SIRADEL.
“Leveraging high resolution imagery, Network Operators can make better and more informed decisions about network planning, roll out and optimisation” said Andrea Bersan, international Vice President, DigitalGlobe.
