The VOLCANO engine is a proprietary piece of software developed by SIRADEL, which implements advanced propagation models to address the simulation of radio-wave propagation in a deterministic way and in all types of outdoor/indoor environments.

VOLCANO software suite comprises VOLCANO and VOLCANO LAB.  VOLCANO is commonly integrated into main commercial planning/optimisation tools. While, containing all the features of VOLCANO inside, thanks to its independent API, VOLCANO LAB aims to help the researchers to do the coverage analysis and other specific wireless studies; facilitate the interface with other 3rd party tools and etc.

VOLCANO is compatible with major commercial radio planning and optimisation tools.
