Siradel selected by CommScope for advanced wireless automation and channel modeling solutions
Siradel has been selected by CommScope – a leading provider of telecommunications infrastructure products – to provide its large-scale Bloonet Web Services automation solution combined with its Volcano ray-tracing model and channel modeling software, S_5GChannel.
“The Siradel Bloonet solution enables automation of 5G network design and simulations to generate key performance metrics over large environment setups. S_5GChannel will enable CommScope to extract the most of Siradel’s Volcano ray-tracing model to get advanced insights in MIMO technology. An original combination of Bloonet + Volcano + S_5GChannel provides CommScope a simulation framework that allows equipment performance assessment at a very large scale,” said Laurent Bouillot, CEO, Siradel.
“We found Siradel’s propagation tool to provide channel matrices essential for our MIMO algorithm development and accurate assessment of network capacity,” said Mike Wolfe, VP, Chief Technology Office, OWN Segment, CommScope.
